Our commitment

Texas Pool Barrier wants every family to be able to use our website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification, or voice control. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

What we’ve done

  • Readable color contrast for text and buttons.
  • A “Skip to main content” link and a visible focus outline for keyboard users.
  • Descriptive text for photos and labels for every form field.
  • Pages that resize and reflow for phones, tablets, and zoomed-in screens.
  • Reduced animation for visitors who turn on “reduce motion” on their device.
  • Clear headings and page structure so screen readers can navigate easily.

Known limitations

Some parts of the site may not be fully accessible yet. The interactive locations map works best with a mouse or touch screen; every location on it is also listed as a text link on the same page. Some content, like third-party maps or embedded tools, is controlled by other companies.

Ongoing work

We review the site regularly with automated tools and manual testing, and we fix issues as we find them.
